We love seeing conversions of old property into something beautiful. The brick exposed walls and arches are a nice touch to this contemporary apartment. Located inside of the “Leicester House” (a historical 1880's building) in Melbourne, Australia.

When it was discovered in 1973 by Ricardo Bofill this Cement factory was made up of 30 silos, underground galleries and huge engine rooms which made it perfect for a restoration project. After it was acquired by Ricardo it was converted into his personal mansion and architectural office. The old yard has been converted into a beautiful blossoming botanical garden. Looks amazing!

A very complex piece of architecture this CCTV Tower is in Beijing, China. It was built as two towers, which were later joined in the middle. In order not to lock in structural differentials this connection was scheduled in the early morning when the steel in the two towers cooled to the same temperature. This was extremely difficult to achieve as the building itself is in seismic zone.
