Bogatyr Coal Mine - Highest Coal Production in the World

A strip coal mine “Bogatyr” had been built by 1969 in Ekibastuz, Kazakhstan. In 1985 it reached its highest annual production level – 56.8 million tons of coal. The strip mine of such a high production capacity has been built for the first time in the world and, because of this factor, in 1985 it was put into the Guinness Book of World Records.

If you ever come by near the coast of Belize, you shouldn’t miss an opportunity to visit the Great Blue Hole, one of the world’s most recognizable natural wonders. The Great Blue Hole is located in Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, about 60 miles away from Belize City. It is believed that this hole is the world’s largest sea-hole. It is about 125 meters deep and its diameter is about 300 meters wide. It has been created as a cause of sea level increase about 65,000 years ago.

Biggest Submarine in the World

This is submarine “Typhoon” as it was called in NATO documents or “Shark” as it was called in Russia. It is considered to be the biggest submarine in the world, with over than 170 meters (515 feet) long and 23 meter (70 feet) wide. It can carry 20 ballistic nuclear missiles and there were only six of those built.
