In case you are not up to date on things in Ukraine, it's pretty bad. A lot of corruption, useless reforms, and a president who no one likes (makes you wonder who elected him in the first place).
Seems like there are no peaceful ways to figure things out for the people in the government. All photos from this summer alone.

Once again we go back to the land of all abandoned things that are Soviet. It seems like people are finding new locations monthly – crazy to even imagine how many more there are out there (operational and abandoned). This one is located somewhere in Ukraine and was built and used in the early 1970's.
A Massive Tank Overhaul Depot in Ukraine [24 Pics]

Prior to the collapse of Soviet Union this depot in Kharkov, Ukraine used to overhaul 60 tanks and 55 engines a month. Today it specializes in modernization and total overhaul of the T-64, T-72 and T-80 tanks and their engines. There are more than 450 tanks here.

Antonov 225 'Mriya' Largest Airplane in the World

The Antonov An-225 Mriya is a strategic airlift cargo aircraft, designed by the Antonov Design Bureau in the 1980s. It is the world's heaviest aircraft. The design, built in order to transport the Buran orbiter, was an enlargement of the successful An-124 Ruslan. The An-225's name, Mriya (Мрiя) means "Dream" (Inspiration) in Ukrainian.
