Nov 11 2012
Every year, on the last Monday of August a truly unbelievable event takes place in the middle of Black Rock Desert. It's believed that once one visits this magical place, they are forever changed. Welcome to Burning Man.
In 2012, Burning Man was home to over 50,000 people, each one experessing themselves in most creative ways imaginable. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Skydiving high over the Black Rock Desert of Northern Nevada, Kurt Issel was captured lounging 7,000 feet above the city of Burning Man in 2010. Although only in existence for one week each year, Burning Man becomes the fifth largest city in Nevada with just over 50,000 participants in attendance each year. Photo and caption by Cory Petty.
