Fuel consumption of 0.99 Liters for a 100 kilometers and a 6.5 liter fuel tank that lasts approximately 650 kilometers without refueling? Where do I sign up for one of these?! The new[ish] VW 1 Liter, has been a concept for several years but now, finally, a reality.

This is the largest radio telescope to be constructed on the face of the planet. It was built in 1960's and has many different roles that it served, and serves to this day. It served as a military spy weapon during the Cold War and it disproved many theories and discovered many new things in space such as the first asteroid captured on an image. Enormous Crystal Cave - Naica, Mexico

The Naica Mine of the Mexican state of Chihuahua is a working mine that is best known for its extraordinary selenite crystals. The mine is owned and operated by Industrias Peñoles, a producer of lead, zinc and silver. These caverns were discovered during mining operations and contain crystals of selenite (gypsum) as large as 4 feet (1.2 m) in diameter and 50 feet (15 m) long.
