World's Longest Cross-sea Bridge

China has completed the construction of its new 42km long bridge. This bridge links the port of Qingdao to an offshore island, Huangdao. The bridge cost approximately 1.5 billion CAD dollars.

It is supported by more then 5,000 concrete pillars and took four years to build. It is now open to traffic.
